Will Hughs, Senior Vice President, Product and Design

Will Hughs is the Senior Vice President of Product and Design at Telstra Incorporated. As SVP of Product and Design, Hughs' responsibilities include managing sales engineering staff, managing bid management processes and staff, maintaining global price books on all products and defining and developing product strategy.

In his previous role as Director, Technical Business Development for Telstra, Inc., Hughs acted as the customer facing expert on all aspects of custom solutions and unique opportunities for selling value added services. He was also in charge of building and presenting internal business cases to the Senior Management Team for strategic, commercial, legal and operational buy-ins on new solutions/applications. Hughs also designed and sold custom solutions that contributed over 1/3 of Telstra Inc.'s yearly revenue during first his four years with the company.

Hughs was awarded Employee of the Year in 2000 and was the architect of the Telstra Incorporated entry into the key South American market of Brazil. Hughs has been with Telstra for over six years.

Hughs received his B.A. in English Literature from the University of California.
